A good selection of Spanish wines and delicious local and mediterranean food, prepared by Esther Diago and widely appreciated by our customers, is guaranteed to satisfy your hunger after a long day birding. Our comfortable guest house has central heating and all rooms with en-suite and tea facilities, you can use it as a home base from which to plan and organise your own excursions; have no doubt that we will give you all the logistical help and information necessary for this purpose. We have special prices for groups or long stays.

We have extended the possibilities of accommodation for the summer months, when weather permits an agreeable long stay in the high-Pyrenees. At the familiar and tranquil Hotel Acher , which has been furnished with all the commodities and services to provide our guests their "own" house during a summer stay. They offer first class cuisine, you can choose an exquisite variation of pyrenean and Mediterranean meals, local and rioja wine is served at no extra cost. This small beautiful hotel, two miles from the village of Hecho , is wonderfully situated for the enjoyment of the best Pyrenean valleys Hecho, Ansó, Ordesa etc.

SELF CATERING IN THE HIGH PYRENEES ( Hecho Valley)

For those who like a more independent holiday we offer self catering facilities in two fully equipped apartments, situated in the quiet, small and picturesque village of Siresa, the last village along the famous Hecho Valley.

Siresa is situated only 1.2 miles from the village of Hecho  and 15 minutes from the end of the valley itself, one of the best nature areas of Aragón.  Siresa with its medieval Romanesque XI th century monastery is a perfect place for your visit in the high mountains. Shopping can be done in Siresa itself, or in nearby Hecho Village . Also, the famous Acher Hotel offers you the best restaurant and food of the valley. Other options for restaurants are in the village of Hecho .

DESCRIPTION

Apartments Tichodroma & Gypaetus

Both apartments occupy approximately 80 square metres and are traditional Pyrenean stone built , restored in 2005, with views of the village. These exclusive apartments offer a unique atmosphere with their elegant decoration and great privacy. They occupy the same building, ‘Casa de Piedra', with a common entrance from the street.

Apartment Tichodroma (max 8 people with three bedrooms) is situated on the ground floor and two big windows – one in the double bedroom and one in the spacious dining room -overlook the village and give access to a terrace. There are another two twin-bedded rooms with windows.

Apartment Gypaetus  (max 4 people with two bedrooms) is situated on the first floor and also has two big windows – one in the double bedroom and one in the spacious dining room - overlooking the village and giving access to a terrace. There is another bedroom with twin beds and a window.

Both apartments are the best available for their location in the Hecho valley. They have  living-rooms with comfortable double-bed sofas and TV's, a well equipped kitchen with a table for six people and a fully equipped bathroom. There is central heating, micro-waves, oven and a washing machine.
